Optimising passenger flow and baggage handling at national airport
The project consisted of two subprojects. Firstly, the optimisation of the passenger flow at peak times at the national airport through improved signalling, infrastructure optimisation and accurate measurement of passenger movements. Secondly, the optimisation of the customer experience at the baggage reclaim at the national airport.
“Optimising passenger experience and making processes more efficient.”
The role of Methis Consulting covered the project management of both projects. This included several activities. Firstly the stakeholder management of the project. Secondly, the assessment of the impact of the different optimisation options and the end to end project management of the implementation of these options (tendering, supplier management, …). Thirdly the core project management: activities such as planning, budget follow-up, issue and risk management. Finally the support of decision making at different levels (C-level, steering committee…).
