Besides development at the client, at Methis there is also room to develop yourself through annual external training courses. Which training you follow is decided in consultation with you based on your personal goals and on what complements your work at the client.
A while back, I started as a Junior Consultant at Methis Consulting. What already appealed to me during the application process was the open communication culture, the pursuit of excellence and the personal attention to my development. From the moment I started on my first project, I noticed that these values are not only named, but actually pursued by each and every colleague.
All consultant starting at Methis are assigned a coach. The coach helps you in terms of development and with client tasks. During regular checkpoints, you discuss with your coach what is going well and what you are struggling with. This has personally helped me a lot to reflect on what you are doing and how to tackle certain things better. We also have regular status meetings with colleagues working on other projects for the same client. This way, we share experiences and best practices and help each other as a team to perform better, thus delivering extra “added value” for our clients.

Furthermore, there is also room within Methis to help with various tasks internally. For instance, we have the KX (Knowledge) teams that regularly organise sessions to share relevant topics (methodologies or market developments) with the entire team, the Methis in Action team which organises fun events every month and a team that takes care of the weekly newsletter. I myself am part of the Marketing team within Methis, with which, among other things, we as a team are responsible for Methis’ social media content. Besides contributing to the client, this way it is also possible to contribute to Methis itself.
